At Gateway Factory, our motto for Startupland 2025 was clear: make innovation visible.
Recently, our Managing Director Tanja Zirnstein and Vertical Lead for Future Computing and Engineering Lukas Wrede showcased a shared booth with three exceptional startups from the Rhineland: Urban Ray, Accurids, and AUXSYS. Two of these startups are familiar faces from our inaugural Ready-to-Scale cohort, exemplifying the dynamic ecosystem we are nurturing.
This event highlighted the importance of being close to the builders and real solutions in the innovation landscape. It is essential for stakeholders to engage directly with those driving change in the tech world.

A standout moment was our Marketing Masterclass, conducted in partnership with denkwerk GmbH. Here are three key takeaways for deeptech founders and partners:
1. Marketing as Positioning: Marketing extends beyond mere advertising; it involves establishing clarity on brand direction and voice.
2. Interactive Engagement: Instead of a one-way dialogue, participants examined their unique market positions. This reflective approach is crucial for differentiation.
3. Mindset Shift: Focus on what sets you apart rather than what is readily apparent. This mindset is vital for standing out in a competitive landscape.
We are energized by the discussions and clear next steps: to continue amplifying Rhineland innovation and assist startups in refining their brand identity with precision.
Our gratitude goes to Isabelle Born and Matthias Niedermaier from denkwerk GmbH for their impactful session, as well as to Urban Ray, Accurids, and AUXSYS for their representation of deeptech in the Rhineland. If you are interested in discussing how we can further support your journey, please feel free to reach out.
